Should I file for bankruptcy under Chapter 7 or Chapter 13?

That depends on your individual circumstances. If you do not have the income needed to repay your debts over time, selling off your assets under Chapter 7 may be the best choice. However, new laws have made it more difficult to qualify for Chapter 7, because the government prefers bankrupt people to file under Chapter 13. Both processes have their pros and cons.
