Budgets are important but do they really help avoid bankruptcy?

Yes. Budgets do help a person avoid bankruptcy by showing that person exactly where his or her money is going. In addition, they let a person know if he or she is living within his or her means. Living within one’s means is very important for avoiding bankruptcy because it means that the person doesn’t really get into debt.
